UOSW student workers represents nearly *four thousand* students on our campus. YDSA has *two thousand* members nationwide. Why should we organize wider mass organizations of students & workers as YDSA you ask?
People talking about the labor movement like it’s some outside activity that socialists can choose to engage in for bonus points makes me so mad
Jess joined UOYDSA at the same time as me and it’s been an absolute pleasure to grow together as socialists. I highly encourage people to rank Jess high if you want a strong labor movement
I'm running for NCC At-Large! Looking forward to advancing a platform designed to create a YDSA that reflects the multi-gender multi-racial working class, and is capable of taking our power back from the capitalist elite. 🧵🧵
Just got out of a YDSA YLC meeting and I literally love all of these people, they give me hope
Allen is an amazing labor organizer and has done fantastic work at Texas State, rank Allen and Gerica on the top of your ballot ✊🏾
Allen Dominguez is running to be the Co-chair of YDSA’s NCC to promote the rank-and-file strategy in YDSA so we are ready for May Day 2028, to mentor red state chapters organizing regionally & running ambitious campaigns, and to build YDSA as party in the larger student movement.
Members of @PortlandDSA helped rally and fight back against the inclusion of cops in the local labor council, read about it here.
⛔️ Grassroots organizing stopped a backroom deal to admit a Portland, Oregon, police union to the local labor council. socialistcall.com/2025/07/20/how…
Yall rly be ahistorical about UOYDSA and UOSW— keep my chapters work out ya mouth tbh
it’s easy to talk big talk, but we need national leaders who have the experience to walk the walk, which is why I nominated @urs4evernever & Allen D. Bc everyone says “labor good” but we need ppl on the NCC who can actually steer and take lead on our labor work
VOTE ALEX "I'm the only candidate in this race that has never voted to cut YDSA funding" PELLITTERI FOR CO-CHAIR
AZ07 Wrong take: Younger people don’t have momentum in electoral politics. Right take: You actually need to be rooted in the community you’re seeking to represent. That is AZ07 in a nutshell. National media missed the boat and were headline chasing on this one.
i am so heartened to see so many immigrants and children of immigrants running for ncc. at a time when the government wants us to back down, we keep fighting.
