This person says every human being, including infants, deserves to be slaughtered and it is God's grace and love that holds him back from doing so. You can call this Stockholm Syndrome theology.
There is noone innocent in front of God. If God is fair, we will all be killed and then thrown into hell because all of us have sinned against Him. But God loves us so much He hasnt done that yet wont instead gives us grace but we still have to accept it before times up.
If you believe with Frank Turek that God commanded the genocidal slaughter of ancient peoples then love is no better than murder.
If there is no objective morality then love is no better than murder.
