This got some traction outside of the #indieanimation space, so I thought I’d share it here! Axel is voiced by @Hazer_D , who also plays Blu from Epilogue of Endings I based a lot of Axel’s gender identity off of my own, so it’s wonderful to see people interested in that! 💜
In Galactic Defense Force, Axel is a non-binary character with a masculine VA and presentation! Very heavily inspired by my experiences growing up, but with lots of punk rock flair. The “fuck you I do what I want” vibe was perfect! Widget is also non-binary :> lil robot fella
