After a 6-week sprint, "WCW vs. nWo: 9 Underground" is now available. 9 wrestlers from VPW64 have been added without anyone being replaced, moves have been imported to finish beta movesets; hidden palettes found in VPW64 have been restored. vpw.ajworld.net/9underground/
With help from @RetroRandyPrice and @AKIClub64, Mil's voice issue is now resolved. Most of the 9 additions now have voice data consistent with what they had in VPW64, with some concessions for Chono, Muta, and Liger. 9 Underground is now going through a final round of testing.
The other thing: Mil, by way of the ID4 I assigned him, uses a specific voice clip: the ring bell. Any time he hits a strike or a grapple of some kind, that's what you'll hear. No idea why. (Screenshot is old by the way — it was before I distributed everyone to other stables)
