Druze are raising the Israeli flag in Syria to signal resistance and garner support. These are not IDF soldiers but may be Israeli citizens. The fence separating Israel and Syria was breached by hundreds of young Druze men who are streaming into Syria to fight for their families.

What should Israel do if Hamas really is, as the critics claim, unremovable? It isn’t enough to criticize Netanyahu’s strategy or even to argue he doesn’t have one. To be effective, critics need to suggest a strategy for removing Hamas and securing a better future for Gaza.
