My 2028 prediction is that South Texas reverts back to 2020 levels of Democratic support. Trump’s now unpopular immigration policies will play a role. Trump’s unique 2024 coalition that included a large amount of minority supporters will also be difficult to maintain as well.
5 seats? That implies a Houston seat, the Austin-San Antonio snake, both south texas seats, and El Paso. Not sure they're going to take that kind of risk
