As we always say, if you see a leveret somewhere, do not touch it or move it, they are often left above ground by their mothers during the day. They do not have burrows like rabbits! All the leverets we accept are then fostered and reared by dedicated staff and volunteers

Welcome the terrific two, Solitaire and Scrabbleπ²π― Found snuggled up together on the beach with no mothers in sight, these two were brought to us by BDMLR. Scrabble comes with a further eye issue which we are assessing. They are both doing great with feeds of smaller fish.

Not only do we have a lot of seals, hedgehogs and pigeons, we are filling up with Owlets too! We have a mixture of Tawny owlets and Little Owlets. Pictured here are two tawny owlets who were found alone and were unable to be put back. π¦ #tawny #owls

Another group of grey seal pups are on their way back to the wild. Dingo, Little Donkey, Armadillo, Turkey and Fossa all came in with a lungworm parasite. Seal, came in with monofilament netting around her neck and with treatment her neck has healed! Good Luck sea potatoes !

Itβs a beautiful day but HOT and our waterfowl are enjoying a cool down on their water π. Remember to put water down for wildlife, and ensure ponds have ramps for animals to be able to safely escape incase they fall in a pond. How many species do you spot in this picture?

Ever seen a melanistic fallow fawn? Melanism is a genetic mutation that causes an organism to have high concentration of melanin, resulting in darker hair, feathers or fur. In this case our fawn looks dark brown with no spots compared to others! We have 3 fallow deer fawns!

Avian Flu Update: Unfortunately, due to gulls testing positive for bird flu in Kings Lynn we are unable to admit new gulls π. This is a hard decision but we need to protect the hundreds of animals we have on site, to avoid a full closure. Please redirect to PACT and Wildtouch

How majestic is this goshawk?π€© through collaboration with other wildlife rehabilitation centres, we are currently aiding her recovery and injury. To help her build stamina and exercise before release, we encourage him to fly lengths in our 96fy long flight aviary. #flight

Last stretch before release! These two garden birds were one of the first fledglings from the season! Our Song thrush and Blackbird are getting acclimatised to being outside and practice their flying before their release! #birds #bird #wildlife

Our shop is OPEN today till 4pm, how lovely is this butterfly print by Stephanie Lacey? π€© Pop in ans have a look! #butterflies

*IMPORTANT UPDATE* We are at FULL CAPACITY for gulls at this moment. Thankfully our friends Wildtouch (North Walsham) and PACT (Norwich) can help with gulls. Please contact them for gull space.

If you see a leveret (baby hare) somewhere, do not touch it or move it, they are often left above ground by their mothers during the day. They do not have burrows like rabbits. However, there are causes where we have had to help, for example this leveret had been catted.

Can you guess what bird this is?π Our avocet chick has been under our care and is doing well! Look at that beak coming into shape! Baby season is well underway! #avocet #bird
