I have been trying the @ChefGruel cooking steak method a few times now. Flipping the steak every minute instead of searing for 4-5 minutes a side like usual. Did this one for 10 minutes on the grill tonight. Turned out great. @ScottRo83866595 @goodbreffis

Pizzas in the ooni oven tonight out back. My 13 year old son made one with pineapple & pepperoni against my wishes @eatinerni . Great night making pizzas and listening to baseball. Have a great weekend.

Made some patty melts tonight & used some @JCHarmonLSU comeback sauce as a great condiment on the sour dough bread. Sweet heat was a nice addition to it. Another good summer night out back.

Wife out of town. M&M pancakes and bacon is dinner for my 3 kids tonight. 10 out of 10 according to them!

My local butcher had bison brats. Never tried them. Tonight I did, and it won’t be the last. Medium heat on the Blackstone with some peppers & onions. Snap on the outside with soft supple meat on the inside. Another nice summer night out back. @mutchman1

Burgers out back with my girls tonight. We picked the 1st tomato from our garden of the season. Cubs game on the radio. Perfect summer evening with them.

Took about an hour road trip north to Tenuta’s in Kenosha, WI. My girls & I had a great lunch outside. They have a full Italian deli inside and outside this grill window with various sausages & sandwiches. Check it out if you are ever in the area.

I’m going to request that if you see this text that you please say a prayer for the Harber family. They lost both of their daughters one in sixth grade and one in eighth grade and their parents do the storms in Texas. They are from Dallas. I cannot imagine the level of grief…

This is what summer is all about. Throwing my girls around in the pool. Very appreciative that my neighbor @dkapcar allows us to use his pool when we want.

Rainy night here. Cooked up some South Carolina shrimp my big bro @ToddLeonard19 gave me, on the @blackstone in the garage. Made some tacos out of them with a quick pickled red onion. Simple & good. There is a difference when it comes to shrimp with Carolina shrimp. The best.

Frank’s 1st summer in our backyard. He is a magnet for whatever my girls draw with chalk on the driveway. Really likes to roll around in it and change his color.

90s today in Chicago & an impromptu water balloon/water gun fight broke out in my backyard between my twin girls and son. Man I love summer.

Cubs game on the radio, kids playing out back, & cooking up some tacos outside tonight. Man I love summer.
