#OTD 1945 newly-commissioned Algerines HMS LIONESS & LYSANDER are diverted from their anti-submarine work-up at Tobermory to assist CinC Western Approaches with his sweeping efforts in the Outer Clyde. They’d just completed sweeping training in the Firth of Forth. #Sweepers80
