Date for your Diary 27th August 2023 Fun day out for all the family at Blackpool RNLI Station. Including special guest... Steve Royle from BGT. Also Tug of war competition and sandcastle competition.

Pleased to report that all went well with the Blackpool Air Show this weekend, and whilst thousands came and enjoyed the two days, all stayed safe and there were no calls for service for the volunteer crews on station. The lifeboats were prepared and ready for immediate launch



When the call goes out to HM Coastguard, that triggers a response across the @RNLI Blackpool volunteers to launch, backed up by a considerable support team on shore. Not just at the RNLI Lifeboat Station, but with our partners at HM Coastguard volunteer SAR teams, Police & NWAS

Every 5 years, the Atlantic 85 lifeboat goes to the RNLI’s Inshore Lifeboat Centre on the Isle of Wight for maintenance. Yesterday afternoon, the crew swapped over B-867 with B-932. The relief boat will be on station for approx 2-3 months. With thanks to LB Photography
