Today is Colombian Independence Day! To celebrate Rhode Island’s Colombian culture, Secretary Amore recently attended the Colombian Independence Day parade in Pawtucket and a flag raising in Central Falls.

Secretary Amore visited Central Falls to thank poll workers today! Polls for the special election in Central Falls and special primary in State Senate District 4 close today, July 8, at 8 p.m.

July 5 is Cape Verdean Independence Day and 2025 marks 50 years of Independence. Thousands of Cape Verdean Americans call Rhode Island home, and Secretary Amore joined the celebration at a flag raising in Central Falls earlier this week.
