July 22nd 1982: Falklands Broadcaster Patrick Watts announces a new era of TV and Radio broadcasting in the Falklands, and reminds the Islanders of the six Anglo-Argentine broadcasters sent from Buenos Aires to keep up propaganda, who soon legged it as the Task Force came closer!



July 22nd 1982: HMS Leeds Castle arrives at a snowy South Georgia, joining STUFT ships Stena Inspector and Wimpey Seahorse and unloading 20 tons of stores; most of it beer and barbed wire... But mostly beer.
