My uber driver Mohamad told me he can't pet dogs because it makes him depressed. It turns out he used to have a dog as a kid. I told him maybe that was why and that I had a dog as a kid that died too and I decided not to get another dog after that. Because that dog was enough.
Younger generations should respect the elderly, the ordinary person who has lived a lifetime and seen a lot. The modern world has lost a lot of civility and courtesy and we should talk to our elders with respect and humility, and value their knowledge.
