A USAF C-130H sat at RAF Mildenhall this morning. Was hoping to catch it flying but today wasn't meant to be. RCH661 C-130H 93-1038 from the 94 Air Wing at Dobbins AFB in Georgia. #aviation #avgeek
The view from here: just a typical Suffolk Sunday afternoon. Some 110 tractors drove past the end of our road just now. Here’s why …
On Sunday 1st September at 1pm, around 110 tractors and vehicles from the Bardwell Tractor Run will be stopping off at the museum. The tractors will be on show for just over an hour while the drivers enjoy a well earned break! Free admission with donations welcome 🚜🚜
For those attending our RAF Day at the Museum on Sunday 27th July, here are a few things to bear in mind

A big update for our RAF Day on Sunday 27th July and hopefully 2nd time lucky. We will have the BBMF Lancaster performing a flypast over the museum! Subject to weather and serviceability. Official timings TBC but we're pencilled in for 4.43pm. Free entry with donations welcome!

We were due to have the BBMF Dakota flypast at our RAF Day but sadly due to its delayed maintenance at Duxford, it has been withdrawn. All other BBMF assets have already been allocated to other events, so they are unable to provide additional flypast support on the day.
Another date for the diary. On Sunday 27th July, we're hosting an RAF Day to celebrate the services history across East Anglia. The event, as always, is free admission with donations welcome and we’re dog friendly.

We have had confirmation from the Lancaster navigator that the flypast is still down for 1.50pm on Sunday, subject to weather and serviceability. All welcome!

We have a brand new event at Rougham on Sunday 27th July-RAF Day! It's our celebration of over 100 years of RAF history in East Anglia. We'll also be seeing in the air a flypast from the BBMF Dakota. Free entry with donations welcome. More to be announced in the next few days!

A C-130 Hercules from the 94th Airlift Wing, Dobbins ARB, Georgia, arrived at RAF Mildenhall yesterday with special 'Square A' markings of our 94th Bomb Group. We will also be welcoming the crew at the museum soon for a tour around the museum. Photo credit :Alessandro Ledda

Our team had a great day meeting the public at the Duxford VE Flying Day. We look forward to visiting again for the D-Day and American Flying Days in the next couple months.

We're delighted to announce that the @RAFBBMF Lancaster will be performing 3 flypasts over the museum on Sunday 22nd June, subject to weather and serviceability. Timings will be announced in the next few weeks. This event is free entry with donations welcome #burystedmunds

Not to be outdone, George and his Suffolk Spitfire gave us three spectacular passes late in the day before heading back to Duxford, after appearing at the Old Buckenham Airshow. It's always a delight to see this aircraft over the museum!

A wonderful day in the sunshine at the museum today, topped off with two formation passes from the Spitfire duo. A huge thanks to ARCo, The Old Flying Machine Company and the pilots for making a lot of peoples day!

We should hopefully see Spitfires MH434 & N3200 together over the museum this Sunday at 1.20pm (subject to weather and serviceability). Admission is free to the museum with donations welcome.
