The head of the family is to be the spring of the family’s happiness. I feel it to be my obligation to be happy in the love of God; to have God’s love shed abroad in my heart by the Spirit of God. That is the course of His love, if unhindered—God’s love in me must press out.
Robert Cleaver Chapman, aka "the apostle of love" began his profesional life as a lawyer. Upon learning that two of his clients were professing Christians and we suing each other, he turned them both to 1 Cor 6. He convinced them both to withdraw their suits.

Children can well understand God by observing the holy or unholy walk of father or mother. They keenly observe, and in the very order of God so it is, they must be affected by the walk and spirit of their parents.
