لم يصدر أي تحذير جديد من الخارجية الأمريكية بخصوص السفر إلى سوريا، وإرشادات السفر الحالية قائمة منذ عام ٢٠١٢. كل ما تم إضافته اليوم، وهو الأهم، هو تذكير المواطنين الأمريكيين الموجودين في سوريا أصلا أن هناك ممرات آمنة ما بين السويداء ودمشق لمن يود الخروج منها.

As I said before, the Alawite or Druze rebellions aren’t an existential threat to the new order in Damascus (if the latter help themselves). But people like al-Hajri are playing with fire by igniting a civil conflict in which those they claim to represent will suffer the most.

These are the acts of the ex-IRGC-linked Druze militias under Al-Hajri that Israel is defending and that the Syrian government has been trying to stop for the last few days.

The clip shows field executions of Bedouin families, including Mrs. Fawza Al-Ahmad and her 5-year-old son Jasim, in a systematic sectarian cleansing. The crimes took place under direct Israeli protection.

It's early days, but grisly footage coming from #Bedouin-inhabited areas of #Suwayda -- showing large-scale death of men, women & children -- & other videos showing #Druze militiamen combing through & celebrating now-empty Bedouin encampments, things will likely escalate again.

Since the U.S. & regionally-mediated deal entered into force overnight, things have again turned ugly in #Suwayda. Hikmat al-Hijri's military council (& aligned militias) have swept back into territory lost in previous days -- amid reports of killing of Bedouins & displacement.

Syria's Military Police have detained a soldier in Suwayda for violating conduct regulations after breaching protocols on interacting with residents, respecting local customs and traditions, and refraining from insults.
