Two Warsangeli sailors settled in Eid(Central Eritrea) after a storm and married into the local Afar, jealousy led to tragedy. One was poisoned; the other escaped, returned with 10 boatloads of Warsangeli reinforcements, and massacred all the Afar men of Eid in revenge.[1901]
