yes, this tension was mostly resolved in the US decades ago whoever stirring it up now is not working for US interests
When I was being raised Catholic, I don’t remember anyone ever telling us to be anti-Protestant at all. Just taught us about Jesus and the Saints, performing our sacraments, going to church, keeping holy days, etc
