You want to know what I'm about? Understand this:
Y'all on this app crashing out and disowning family over a damn election while both sides sip champagne together and cut deals while laughing at your asses.
The NYT finally has a front-page article on the mass famine sweeping Gaza, but barely mentions the role Israel has played in blockading food from entering. Here's how the Lead Editorial of @haaretzcom today begins: "Gaza is starving, and Israel is responsible."
Theory without practice is empty. Practice without theory is blind. The theory gives meaning; practice gives grounding. Alone they both fail. Together, they’re indispensable.
Franken's former colleague who got him removed from the Senate, Kirsten Gillibrand, has not said a single thing about the mass starvation in Gaza. Go scroll through her two Twitter pages. If you search "Gaza" on her website, this is the most recent result:
This is a horror and Israel is to blame. There needs to be a ceasefire and Gaza flooded with food and water. nytimes.com/2025/07/24/wor…
What kinds of human beings do things like this. This is the source of the antisemitism. People erroneously equate this with Judaism & being Jewish when it is not. These are the acts of European colonialists who hijacked religion to pimp in order to give a cover to thief.
lSRAEL FORCES POURING CEMENT INTO A WATER SUPPLY AMID A FAMINE Pure Evil.
Based on the statistical model developed by The Lancet. And everyone displaced, everyone starving, thousands without legs, thousands without arms, thousands of orphans. A holocaust that will echo until the end of time
That's the whole point. There's a $1.5 TRILLION gap between how much investors like pension funds have put into private equity & how much private equity firms have paid back those pension funds. The teachers & "other working people" are precisely the ones who are at risk here.
So while @davidsirota here is fearmongering about private equity, is it fair to say he’s missing the obvious point that private equity is just pools of money (including that of teachers and other working people’s pensions)
I thought the entire point of being happy Zohran Mamdani won is that we can finally have someone who calls out Zionism on the big stage What is the point if this mf goes radio silent on the issue after winning? Look at his timeline, nothing about the famine in Gaza
1/3 Arab regimes now face a historic test following Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s call today for them to open a land route for Yemenis to reach Palestine. When Sayyed says, “Open the borders and we will cross with one hundred thousand,” he is not asking for military support. 👇
The military intervention is ready to go. It is being blocked by Arab governments that are willing to go to war to protect Israel's genocide. Yemen is asking them only to get out of the way.

The corollary of "you treasure what you measure," is "you don't give a shit about what you stop measuring," which is why Trump's FCC has decided to stop measuring the speed of the broadband it subsidizes with billions in public funds: theregister.com/2025/07/22/bid… 1/
The Nazis were only in power for 12 years but Germany has been perpetrating genocides for more than a century. Genocide is foundational to and inseparable from the recently invented German national identity.
This is absolutely insane. There’s now a $1.5 TRILLION gap between what investors (like pension funds) put into private equity & what private equity has paid back to those investors — and now Trump may let private equity firms use Americans’ 401k savings to bail themselves out!
Private equity firms owe their investors $1.5 trillion, and the Trump administration is set to offer them your 401(k) to fill the gap. levernews.com/venture-capita…
Well, Section 453 was approved yesterday. It provides pesticide companies, including giants like Bayer/Monsanto and Syngenta, with near-total protection from lawsuits, even when their products are later implicated in causing harm. This is NOT making America great again!

It's wild to me that Trump bombed a fuel port in Yemen and massacred 84 civilians and followed it up with an airstrike on a jail that killed 60 detained African migrants and nobody seems to care

Israel declared @UNRWA a terrorist organization, stopped aid entering Gaza for 3 month, formed a militarized “aid distribution foundation”, killed nearly 1,000 people trying to get aid, prohibited all Palestinians from being in the water of the Mediterranean Sea, and NOW that the…
