Summer is moving fast and we have less than one month left until the fall semester. I cannot wait to welcome our new and returning Bluejays as we begin a new academic year in just a few short weeks!

Ten years ago marked my first day as @creighton president and, reflecting on this meaningful journey, I am filled with gratitude for all those who have made Creighton what it is today and built laying the foundation for all that lies ahead.

It was great to join @UNO_Chancellor Joanne Li & Omaha Mayor John Ewing at last night's @ncaabaseball CWS opening ceremonies as @creighton celebrates 75 years as host and now @unomaha as co-hosts. Good luck to the teams, players, and coaches who are competing this year.

I am saddened to share that Dr. George Blue Spruce, Jr., a @creighton alumnus and the first American Indian dentist in the U.S. passed away Friday. Dr. Blue Spruce broke barriers, inspiring others to do the same. My prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.

Today @creighton celebrated not only the 75th anniversary of the @ncaabaseball national championship in Omaha, but a new chapter for @CU_baseball and @BluejaySoftball. Thank you to all those who came out to support the future of @gocreighton with us today. #GoJays

I want to congratulate @creightonsom's Dr. Allison Coffin on her recent @NIH grant. Dr. Coffin’s work on medicine's effects on hearing not only has the potential to change lives but will provide meaningful opportunities for our students to engage in meaningful research.
