Leads his team, scores when needed, knocks down open shoots, & uses his strength & athleticism to guard the ball. Kid that can play from the D1 level on down. College coaches should take a long look.
Finally, our NW Big Stage MVP: Elijah Thompson (@Elijah_T4) - Southridge HS The 6’0 2027 point guard was the best player on the best team in the event. Makes all the plays on both ends of floor that helps his team win games. His game reminds a lot of Jason Kidd.
Our 2026 MVP: Bryce Lowenbach - Crook County HS As mentioned, Lowenbach is an offensive unicorn with size & skill set that is unmatched in our region. As he continues to improve his body, the sky is the limit for his college career.
Our 2027 MVP: Major Williams - Jesuit HS The 2027 class is one of the deepest in memory for Oregon & Williams stood above the pack all tourney. Toughness & scoring ability were in full supply.
Finally we have our class MVP’s & our overall tournament MVP. The class MVP’s were identified as the outstanding player for their grade throughout the event.
Tools, playing point guard at times. Made shots from all 3 levels as well as showing the ability to pass at a high level. Defensively he used his length & timing to impact the game at the rim. Truly a unicorn that is recruitable from D1 on down.
The final member of our Big Stage All Tourney team is: Bryce Lowenbach - Crook County HS The 6’9’Lowenbach was the talk of the tournament, which was the 1st time many people on the western side of the state had seen him play. Lowenbach showed off a deep bag of
Next up on the Big Stage All Tourney group: Major Williams - Jesuit HS 6’0 2027 guard showed off massive improvement from the end of the HS season. Scored the ball from all 3 levels & displayed a much improved defensive game & ability to play some point.
The 2nd member of the Big Stage All Tourney Team: Kasen Lariz (@kasenlariz) Forest Grove HS The 6’4 lefty was absolutely lights out from 3 all tourney. It’s a shooters game & he was the best one in the event. Also showed intangibles on both ends of the floor.
The first member of The NW Big Stage All Tourney team is: Drew Groenig (@DrewGroenig24) from Southridge HS. Athletic 6’2 wing showed off his ability to shoot the ball from deep. Also displayed improved ball handling & play making abilities. Kid that every NAIA should be on!
Before we announce our all tourney teams & class MVP’s, our teams were identified based on their play in the NW Big Stage only! Input was solicited from HS participating coaches, media members in attendance, & college coaches who attended the event.

2026 cont Wyatt Horner (@Wyatt_Horner08) Redmond HS Multi sport athlete that exploded for a 30+ point game. Scores at all 3 levels Syrrius Owens - Clackamas 6’6 wing displayed an ability to score around the basket & use his length to impact the game on D.
2026 cont Sam Curvy (@_samcurvy_ ) Jesuit HS Talented wing athlete that is super active on both ends. Defends & rebounds at a high level. Ryan Barone (@RyanBarone18) Jesuit HS Lefty shooter showed off his sweet stroke & improved play making abilities.
2026 cont Malakai Weimer (@MalakaiWeimer) Skyview HS Talented scorer was on display on Day 2. Plays w/ a great motor on both ends. Lucas Labounty (@LucasLaBounty) Thurston HS Athletic wing player struggled in Game 1, but bounced with a big game 2 where his scoring showed.
2026 cont Ryder Zanon (@ZanonRyder) Southridge HS. Transfer showed off his size; soft hands, & ability to score. Continues to show improvement on both ends. Julius Vessel - Southridge HS Lock down perimeter defender, displayed the ability to knock down open shots.
