Let us all remember when Pools was a truly proud club with a soul. It may have been crap at times but had honest people who cared. Never Say Die. SINGH OUT NOW.
Promotion May 1991 - were you stood on the old wooden dug outs celebrating?

Nicky Featherstone. Signed October 2014, has played under more managers than any other Pools player, has made 462 appearances (3rd all time) and is still on top of his game. Deserves his testimonial today and more.

Incredible how the game has changed. Us apprentices only got about 3 weeks off in the summer. We used to paint, and generally assist the groundsman in off season. Vince had me, @Paulstaff17 and Gav riddling potatoes at his farm as well. Imagine youth playerβs doing that now? π€·π»ββοΈπ

Jon Sunderland - scoring against Lincoln City at the Vic on his debut in December 1996

Pools on the Move winners and the great Frankie Baggs from January 1997

I was in that crowd Somwhere ! Looked many times but can never find myself .
All served by Sharon when the ticket office and club shop were just one thing. Great times.
Pre season 1996 and Pools had a new range on sale

Aberdeen played a pre season friendly in 1995 behind closed doors. Safety certificates had yet to be signed off for the new Town End and Cyril Knowles Stand

A generous prediction, we finished 20th! Still a far more enjoyable era to support Pools owned by a man who saved the club and genuinely had its best interests at heart. Micky Brown coming in from Man City to help keep his hometown club in the league, Joes Feethams winner.
