Devlog #1 – From Dreams to ReignFall - a thread 🧵 You know those ideas that live rent-free in your head for years? The ones that show up uninvited at 3 AM, right before you fall asleep, whispering, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if you made that game now?” Yeah. This is that game.
The ingredients to our game: -Bargain with the devil😈 -Branching narrative with real consequences -Roguelite runs with changing paths -Choice matter and you have to make hard decisions -Gothic hand drawn art style

Our game has it all: plagues, famine, wars... and kings randomly blessed with wisdom, strength, or pure disappointment. Sometimes parameters change before your eyes, sometimes cards on the King's Path are cheaper. Total chaos. Absolute fun. #roguelite #indiegame

• There are two separate trees: The Tree of Goodness: Contains skills the player can unlock through positive choices, gaining the people's trust, and peaceful strategies. The Tree of Evil: Contains skills that can be accessed through revenge, cruelty, and aggressive strategies.

How do you think the skill tree scene has developed and how is it now? I decided to give up the skill icons connected by tree branches and instead connect them with stone paths, and added animations to this path. #gamedev #godotengine #indiegame
