Love these covers. I don’t think the newer editions capture the same feelings this cover gives off. Out of The Silent Planet, Perelandra and That Hideous Strength should be much more well known. Especially in our times!
Checking out some of Robert E. Howard’s work for the first time. Really enjoying it so far. It’s almost hard to believe that some of this stuff is getting close to being a century old! It’s easy to see all of the inspiration later fantasy writers were able to glean from him.
Brought to you by a guy who calls himself “The Necromancer.” That Hideous Strength needs to be required reading.
