Had a fantastic weekend at @YoungLabourUK Congress repping for @GMB_union. Was great to have so many good conversations and to see lots of young workers sign up to join the union. GMB is fighting for the future of work and young workers are signing up to join the fight ✊

The New Deal for Working People is going to bring transformative change to millions of workers. It was a privilege to spend the week working for @labourunionsuk helping to build momentum for the New Deal. Thanks to all those who came to show their support.

Some of the @GMB_MPs_Staff branch committee before their summer social for members this evening. GMB is the largest union for MPs’ and Peers’ staff in both Westminster and constituency offices, with membership now in the thousands #MembersFirst 🟠🌑

I was recently elected as the Youth Officer for the GMB MPs and Peers Staff Branch ✊ I’m proud of the work I’ve done over the years to build the union movement and I’m glad to be able to continue this work in Parliament. You can read more about what I’ve been up to below 👇

Proud to have graduated from UCL with a distinction in my MSc in Security Studies 🥳 I now have a DipHe, BA, PGCE and MSc 😮 There is a world to be changed and I will keep using all I have learned to do what I can to make this world better for all.

Angry about the results today? Then join Labour and get mobilised. Don’t agree with everything Labour does? Cool story, neither do I. But we are the biggest and best bulwark standing in the way of the far-right coming to power. And we are about to have the fight of our lives.

Let me be clear: cutting foreign aid is wrong. It was wrong when the Tories did it. It is wrong now. Cuts to foreign aid will increase poverty, undermine action on climate change and create a more insecure world. I’ve given my life to fight poverty. None of that changes now.

Proud to be included on UCL’s Dean’s List 🎓 I am grateful for all the skills and knowledge I gained while completely the MSc in Security Studies. I look forward to using everything I learned as I continue working to make this world a more peaceful, free and just place for all.

Access to puberty blockers saves lives. We should be supporting not banning life saving medicine. Solidarity with the Trans community. Trans rights are human rights 🏳️‍⚧️

Thank you @WarwickLabour for inviting me to talk about @GMB_union and how young people can get involved in trade unions. My message was simple: our generation experienced over a decade of stagnant pay and reduced rights at work. So join a union and fight for a better future ✊

Tonight young workers gathered from across the East Midlands for a TUC young workers event. Young people keep organising and we won’t stop until we get the pay and rights we deserve. I’m proud @GMBMidlands helped support this event alongside other incredible trade unionists ✊
