The city of Pittsburgh announced that a raised crosswalk will be implemented along a street in the Northside in an effort to improve pedestrian safety. wtae.com/article/raised…
Data collected indicated that more than 54% of vehicles traveling on Federal Street exceeded the posted speed limit of 25 mph. From 2020 to 2024, there have been six recorded crashes at this intersection involving pedestrians, many resulting in serious injuries.



A segment of the N. Shore Trail in Pittsburgh’s Chateau neighborhood closed temporarily on Thursday June 26th The temporary closure comes after a small portion of the trail eroded, preventing safe crossing.

The Herron Avenue Bridge in Pittsburgh’s Polish Hill neighborhood will be closing temporarily on Wednesday May 28th at 8:00 am.




In partnership with Pittsburgh H2O, we completed a stormwater and roadway improvement project to address flooding issues at Braywood Way in the Greenfield and Hazelwood neighborhoods. These improvements, while unromantic, mean a world of difference for the impacted residents.


We had a fantastic time during Bike to Work Week. For many of our staff, every week is BTWW and we are pleased to have an array of transportation modes represented in our staff. We’re proud of the work they do everyday to support the mobility and infrastructure of Pittsburgh.
