The reason they do this is because they don’t want it to be the state vs the people. Now it can be portrayed as the state policing two groups. This is crisis management and storytelling in real time. Society is held together by keeping the groups in tension.
Imagine being on standby to defend the pro foreign sex pest side of the argument.
More wealth extraction by the stakeholders. Artificially pumping a property bubble through an immigration bubble allows for further opportunities for bilking the public. This includes taxation which is used to create careers for the people paid to manage services and integration.
Local Property Tax is going up in Dublin. Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil, Greens, Labour and the Social Democrats all supported it, calling it a “progressive wealth tax.” Sinn Féin, People Before Profit and most independents opposed it. The tax will generate €16 million a year for…
Since Ozzy is dead, RIP, I may as well give my favourite Black Sabbath albums. It’s a tossup between the debut and Volume IV. Those just have something about them that more polished albums often lack, atmosphere.
For libs everything is a grand story. The details are purposefully fuzzy but there are recurring themes that can always be invoked when reality starts making itself felt such as ‘50s misery. “Think immigration is bad? Well Dev and McQuaid caused emigration to America, sorry chud”
Funny how so many Irish libs cite emigration from 1950s & 1980s Ireland, as smoking gun proof of the failure of the Irish state, yet modern Ireland is chock full of immigrants from China & India, and we're told both these states are modern economic miracles. How does that work?
Construction industry contracting, credit hard to obtain, 4 person mortgages, state spending doubled, huge migrant hotels, David McWilliams telling us we might need to cut immigration a tad. Yep, I'm thinking we're back to a recession, property crash and another lost generation.
In the end Micheál Martin's greatest achievement will be engineering a crash without having a boom first. This one will go down in the annals.
Since the 1990s the public sector is essentially the only part of the economy which has union representation and they got everything they asked for regarding pay and pensions. I would wager everyone there is a civil servant of some sort. This is the state managing things.
Q. Why is Fórsa Trade Union organising counter protests you might ask? A. Fórsa is the largest Irish trade union for the public service, and the second largest trade union in the state. They are made up of over 89,000 government employees
Anglo-American free trade economics are built on this kind of indentured labour. That is why Britain and America have been deindustrialised and turned into service sector economies which are overran by deliveroo drivers. No real innovation, just an immigration Ponzi scheme.
This is probably the most perfect example of why the upper classes love importing infinity numbers of migrants. They don't actually care about migrants they just see them as pawns that can be exploited for cheap labour which makes them richer.
Theres a mendacity to these people which is just inherently repulsive to Western people. They are fake and don’t really understand the subtleties of our societies. Just some scammer trying to sell you something you don’t want to buy, never taking no for an answer.
I'm not an American, but it enrages me to see this guy revising what it means to be American, actually daring to preach to Americans about it.
Since 2008, Western economies have been scared of recessions which are a necessary part of the economic cycle. Similar superstitious fears about a levelling or slightly declining population are driving mass immigrationism. Overproduction of elites following grand narratives.
Decline creates condition for population rebound. Mass immigrationism just extends decline. Systemic reform impossible so long as warm bodies pile in.
When you realise his audience, and the audience of most of these kinds of influencers, is non-white incels desperate for a sniff of a white woman it makes sense. This is their dream, the big man with the harem. Only Fans is also milking these people dry.
Irish leftists always blame the housing crisis on two things - failure to build, and vacancy rates - while ignoring or denying the role that immigration plays. Yet in doing so they ignore two crucial statistics: - Ireland builds more houses per capita than most other European…

Great contest #CorkvTipperary Also, the GAA is rife with local gombeen chiefs selling their communities and nation out behind the scenes, taking advantage of the plantation and artificially inflated property industry killing our country and driving a generation into poverty and…
This is a problem everywhere now. All the young people I know cant find summer jobs because every entry is filled with some brown guy and his mates. We are a people who will not pass on their society to the next generation and instead bequeath it to aliens out of selfishness.
Fairly grating and disheartening seeing players meet their families by the side of the pitch and being surrounded by Somalians and Indians who croke park have decided to make up their stewarding staff with.
Derek's Island is data-driven, meaning the control of data is the currency of power, as oil was a century ago. The priests of data create grand narratives with data and use data to control society, particularly that famous GDP statistic. Ireland is simply an abstraction of data.
They're still hiding behind Dev's Island but that ended decades ago. Since the 90s we have been in Derek's Island with its data-driven orthodoxy. Progressives have far more control over society than the Church and have erected entire institutions dedicated to managing behaviour.

That Dev's 'Ireland That We Dreamed Of' manifesto' *was* a manifesto, was one reason it provoked so many lib anathemas. Like it or loathe it, it was one man's concrete template for an ideal Ireland. Modern libs never do this - always hiding behind abstract rhetorical nostrums.
There isn't anything more symbolic of the debasement of this country than this medical technocrat being presented as a suitable president. Holohoop would have a shot because to go after his record would expose the corruption of everyone else.
My thoughts on Tony Holohan’s possible run the Presidency:
If it wasn’t obvious why the ridiculous “derelict Ireland” campaign was being pushed by the far left for the last year, then here is the reason. This will end private property and allow for another trench of wealth extraction from the people of Ireland to parasitic client groups.
Check this out from @jgeoghegantd - this is a law to seize property including "under-used" homes. This will particularly target old people. I attach in the first comment an analysis by ChatGPT which I also got ...
What is described as the left in the West is mainly an American progressive ideology where one’s worth is shown by social signalling. Their materialistic and consumerist values demonstrate that as does their treatment of those they think are beneath them. “Get a job” etc.
The left opposed - or claimed to oppose - privatisation in the 80s-90s. It's one of the reasons Thatcherism is still a dirty word in left-lib circles. Yet the immigration industry is privatisation at its most extreme, and the left are its most determined gatekeepers.

You’re a really good person, Shane. You are much better than those far right troglodytes! You have omnipotent powers to judge other people who you don’t even know from your armchair in Dublin. Well done, you won the internet today, pal.
No concerns for the Far Right here. Tom was tortured to death by three white Irishmen.
