Edwards H. Metcalf (1911–2001) collected playing cards dating from the 1800s to the mid-1900s. His collection features a variety of card games, such as Man-Chu, fortune-telling decks, and court cards. Come see the collection on view in the Special Collections Wing at Payson.

In April, two @pepperdine students—Molly Sheridan and Saylor Stottlemyer—enrolled in Kelle Marshall's French capstone course presented their final projects. Working closely with Special Collections librarians, each student translated a rare book from our collection.
