Man, can’t make this up. Just Mets luck. Blackburn starts the game looking in control, 2 strikeouts in the 1st inning. Mets eat up Pirates SP, 4 hits and 1 run scored in 1st inning. Hour+ rain delay. Pirates take out their SP, Mets leave theirs in. And all falls apart.

This lineup has been missing a bat like Winkers and to now know that he won't be back for another 2+ months and may have played his last game in a Mets uniform is painful
