Home Alone… for dinner. So I made myself poached salmon in a saffron cream sauce with spinach, leeks and mushrooms. Don’t forget the seasonings, garlic, white wine and chicken stock. You can do it! I’m a cook, not a chef.

We have lost a legend. From Sabbath to Blizzard and onward Ozzy has impacted countless bands and that will not end. KISS was humbled to be an opening band for Sabbath in the mid 70’s. Through decades I’ve known him, Ozzy has always been a kind and very funny soul. Fly high now.

I was humbled on our last tour to receive this Purple Heart and certificate awarded to Sargent First Class Bob Strait for wounds he received in Viet Nam. It was given by his son in appreciation of the band’s and my unwavering support for the brave men and women of our military.

Brian Wilson Has Died. "Genius" is a term used too often and too loosely. "Tortured Genius" even more so. Brian's astonishing output of musical brilliance will bring joy while it influences generations to come. Thank you Brian and Rest In Peace.

Sly Stone Has Died. In 1968 I saw Sly & the Family Stone debut at the Fillmore East in New York City opening for Jimi Hendrix. They were a freight train of bombastic, joyous SouI that would soon climb the charts and change the sound of R&B for so many other artists. Rest In Soul!

Dinner Tonight! No time to get fresh clams so I went with chopped canned ones. Rigatoni with Chopped Clams, Mushrooms, Oil/Butter, Garlic, Calabrian Chili, White Wine, Clam Juice, Basil, Parsley, Lemon. A little of this and a little of that... Awesome.
