Thanks to the HS2 team for showing me around the Old Oak Common site today. Infrastructure projects like this will transform the country, but the UK has to start delivering “on time and on budget”!
I joined Lib Dem colleagues in writing to the Chief Exec of Network Rail, raising concerns about declining performance & passenger experience since the SWR network was nationalised. We’re pushing for accountability & action to restore confidence in this key railway route.
It’s a couple of weeks since I met @TFl to discuss, amongst other things, the annunciators at Wimbledon station. They promised me either a quick fix or a work around! Sadly they are still spouting nonsense🤦🏻♂️ #Dunciators

Major pollution incident in Wimbledon Park lake which is owned by Merton Council. Milky blue water with unpleasant smell flowing through the park and into the Wandle. Word is it's coming from AELTC site as they pack up. 😡
