Congrats @Lena_Kutscher and Fred!
I’m excited to announce our latest publication out now on bioRxiv, where we examine the role of the Elongator scaffold gene Elp1 in the developing cerebellum! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Thank you @embojournal for sharing our story about the heterogeneity between choroid plexus tumors!
Single-nucleus transcriptomes of 24K cells from disease-free human choroid plexus & choroid plexus tumors reveals heterogeneity & critical differences between epithelial cell compartment tumor microenvironment Resource by @ccortical et al @PatriziLab @DKFZ embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…
Excited to share a new paper from our group. A shout-out to Tony Hill (@ccortical ) that spearheaded the first single cell atlas of choroid plexus tumors! Single-nucleus RNA-seq dissection of choroid plexus tumor cell heterogeneity | The EMBO Journal embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…
Meet the IMPRS-BI recruiting faculty: Nadine Gogolla @NadineGogolla and her group @mpi_psychiatry study how emotion states are encoded in the brain. Apply now for a PhD via our joint graduate school IMPRS-BI! 🔔 Application deadline: November 10 🌐 Apply here:…
Thank you @DKFZ ! We are very excited for this paper.
Choroid plexus tumors mainly affect toddlers. Scientists at DKFZ have now been able to show that a permanently activated important signaling pathway of intracellular communication is responsible for the development of these rare brain tumors. @PatriziLab t1p.de/ytpgf

In this manuscript, we dissected key human molecular pathway underlying rare but devastating choroid plexus tumors and created the first 3D model of the tumor. I hope you will enjoy it. (4/4)
I also want to thank all the amazing collaborators, many of them twitter less but all of them essential for this work. (3/4)
A shout-out to Kim Hoa Ho that spearheaded the work and to @MTrapp13615 Trapp, two amazing researchers from my group. (2/4)
Take a look at this super interesting paper from the @Acebron's group. @Acebron , @Anchel_91 , it was a pleasure to collaborate with you
How does genomic mosaicism arise during development? We identified that embryo patterning signals not only readour genetic blueprints to build organisms, but they also play a critical role in their maintenance. A quick dive into our new paper nature.com/articles/s4146… 1/10
Excited to share our paper in @PNASNews doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2…. To our surprise, the ROSA26iDTR line showed diphtheria toxin-induced choroid plexus ablation in the adult brain 😱, we show an unexpected role of the ChP in retaining the pool of neuroblasts in the adult SVZ
Thank you @laupellegrini and @Violesilvar for writing this interesting review with me doi.org/10.1186/s12987…! I also want to thank again all the participants of the #ECSF for creating a great environment and sharing so many upcoming inspiring stories. Stay tuned!
Check out our latest pre-print on a novel method 🧬 to model and study 🔬 #sarcoma under a fully competent immune system to propel #immunotherapy optimization. @SoftSarcoma @KiTZ_HD
Here a fantastic paper from @Lena_Kutscher lab. Can’t wait to read it!
In our first paper, we examine the gene regulatory networks underlying Group 3/4 medulloblastoma using a single-cell multiome atlas composed of >350,000 cells derived from 38 primary and relapse tumors. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
(1/2) we identified the molecular mechanisms underlying the excitatory and inhibitory synaptic localization of Neuroligin-3 and it includes the first ever imaging of human synapses. Enjoy the reading!
(1/1) This is a great way of ending 2023! This work started during my PhD (almost 16 years ago) and I want to thank the Poulopoulos lab for making this possible. biologicalpsychiatryjournal.com/article/S0006-…
🥁Out on @Dev_Cell 👉Choroid plexuses carry nodal-like cilia that undergo axoneme regression from early adult stage 🔗doi.org/10.1016/j.devc… 👏Congratulations to @nathspassky, @PatriziLab, and all their collaborators!
