Gymnastics is high art
Frankly, I'm of the opinion that this technique looks a bit messy unless the gymnast is already in a full split from the preceding element, e.g. Boginskaya's giant to 180° split then step down into toe-on.

This is a new one. I have some questions about how an athlete doesn't have his kit/uniform on for competition. From all technical regulations I've read this morning, the reserve athletes are supposed to be ready to compete.
