Glad to meet 🇧🇪 Ambassador to Turkmenistan (residing in Baku) H.E. Julien de Fraipont @jdefraipont during 🇧🇪’s National Day events. We exchanged views on our respective agendas, incl. a possible 🇧🇪 business mission to 🇹🇲 and other key bilateral matters to further enhance 🤝

During 🇧🇪 National Day, I was pleased to meet with Deputy PM & FM @prevotmaxime, President of the Chamber of Representatives @PeterDeRoover1, Royal Cabinet Head Mr. Vincent Houssiau & PM’s Diplomatic Advisor Amb. @ThomasLambertBE. We discussed possible high-level 🇹🇲🤝🇧🇪 contacts.

I had the honour to take part in the official celebrations of 🇧🇪’s National Day. A vibrant and solemn occasion with a military parade, a reception for the diplomatic corps, and a ceremony in the presence of The Royal Family. Happy National Day to the people of Belgium!

Productive meeting with Heinrich Kerstgens, Director at Rhenus Group, global logistics service provider. Discussed expanding cargo flows through 🇹🇲 and supporting Turkmen exports to global markets. Turkmenistan stands ready to serve as a key transit hub between Europe and Asia.

Had a very constructive meeting with the leadership of the Benelux Union together with fellow Ambassadors from Central Asia and Mongolia. Discussed regional cooperation, integration experiences, and the importance of facilitating official travel between Benelux and Turkmenistan

I had the pleasure of speaking at the Brussels Energy Club to share Turkmenistan’s energy vision. We are ready to work with EU partners on gas, renewables, infrastructure & clean production. Our doors are open for practical cooperation.

Glad to note the continued dialogue between Turkmenistan and the EU. Turkmenistan’s FM Rashid Meredov and the EU’s HRVP @kajakallas exchanged views on boosting 🇪🇺-🇹🇲 cooperation. We value the EU’s appreciation of 🇹🇲’s support in facilitating humanitarian transit from Iran.

Pleased to join fellow Central Asian Ambassadors in a fruitful exchange with @PeterisUstubs, Regional Director @EU_Partnerships. We discussed upcoming EU–Central Asia forums and the shift from dialogue to concrete projects connecting our region with Europe.

Grateful for the meaningful meeting with the @EIB delegation in Brussels. Our discussions focused on legal frameworks, investment cooperation, and future joint efforts. We welcome the planned visit of the EIB Vice-President @KyriacosKa to Turkmenistan this August.

Turkmenistan 🇹🇲 and the @WCO_OMD have signed an MoU granting Regional Training Centre status to the Training Centre in Ashgabat! The RTC will boost customs training, host expert-led programs, and serve officers across the region.

Great exchange at the WCO HQ in Brussels between the Turkmen Customs Chairman Mr. Khudaikulyev and SG Mr. Ian Saunderd @WCOSG. 🇹🇲 remains a reliable WCO partner, committed to training, innovation, and global customs cooperation. Handed over the invitation to the LLDC Conference.

Turkmenistan continues to ensure uninterrupted transit of foreign citizens leaving Iran through humanitarian corridors. To date, 52 states have asked Turkmenistan to assist in the return of their citizens to their homeland in view of the situation in the Middle East. 🇹🇲

I thank 🇵🇱 @POLAND25EU for hosting the new EU–Central Asia dialogue format within PSC in Brussels. A timely exchange on connectivity, energy, water, climate & security. 🇹🇲 remains committed to practical cooperation between CA and 🇪🇺 & regional solidarity.

Honored to be part of the 17th round of the 🇹🇲–🇪🇺 Human Rights Dialogue in Brussels. Had open and respectful talks on key reforms and cooperation. No topic is excluded from our discussions. We remain open to discussing all issues in a spirit of mutual respect and partnership
