Indeed. This took place on Tuesday. Freeman is now an unrestricted free agent. Pacers didn’t have to do this, but it helps Freeman to become unrestricted. The Pacers are leaning toward Taelon Peter with their last two-way contract as GM Chad Buchanan said on @PacersPodSTP Monday.

Chad very much hinted at this when he joined @PacersPodSTP. While Freeman definitely showed improvement in summer league, Indiana already has 4 centers on the roster. Let the Taelon Peter era begin!!!
