Neighbourhood Officers today stopped a male whilst driving on the Newtownards Road, Belfast. On speaking to the driver and searching the vehicle, the male was arrested on a number of offences including; driving whilst unfit and possession of a class C drug with intent to supply.

A 35-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 20th July in connection with a firearms-related incident in the Coates Row area of east Belfast – during which one officer was scalded – has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries. The investigation continues.
