I just listened to this and it was really good! Kyle is one of the best in the biz at applying the economic lens to science. Plus, the story of how his JMP came together is a must-listen for grad students (it's a great tale of grit + luck + initiative)
🎙️New episode alert! 🥳Our guest is @KRoyMyers from Harvard and we talked about Trump, the "elasticity of science", fundings & politics. Personal questions and new games towards the end. Oh, and.. tell us your price 😁 @CEP_LSE @POID_LSE @ruveyda_gozen @johnvanreenen #EconTwitter
Great episode of one of the best econ podcasts. The UK productivity puzzle & intangible capital discussion were fascinating/informative. But not convinced from all I’ve read that Adam Smith would be as much fun at parties as Maynard Keynes!
🎙️New episode alert! 🥳 Our guest this week is @haskelecon — we talked crazy trade policies, the UK’s productivity puzzle, intangible capital, and secular stagnation. A super insightful convo, well worth a listen 😉 @CEP_LSE @POID_LSE @ruveyda_gozen @johnvanreenen #econtwitter
