I was in his high school class so I didn’t “see” him play but everyone heard about the guy from kerrville throwing for 400 and rushing for 200 every week. Then of course 2 years later he took over college football with the name Johnny football.

HS players…. If a camp has 20 colleges as “attending” send a dm to a coach from one of those colleges asking if a staff member will be there. Some camps will put a school on the flyer and the school has never heard of it. Seen it happen a bunch

The main point being following the trends makes it easy on defenses. 15 years ago zone read was not throughout levels of football. Now every HS DE knows how to play it. Everyone knows what plays are the current hot plays Have your system, know its flexibilities and coach it well
