Gross! 81F dew point at Ager GC in Lincoln tonight on the GreenKeeper wX Station. This humidity has been brutal to both grass and golfers. Syringing with more water in the afternoon isn't the answer. It just adds to the leaf wetness and does little to help long-term cooling.

It’s been a few days of heat and humidity, and the etiolation starts. Now, only if we had a way to control it.
I'm getting ready for etiolation emails/DMs to come with the current Nebraska weather. High humidity with warm nights, clouds, and frequent light rain offer a perfect environment. The rapid growth rate is ugly and weakens the turf against pests and stress later this summer.
