Great day on the doors with Julie Ann Costello McHale - so many conversations with folk who know Julie Ann and are pleased to be able to support the only Barrhead candidate. She cares because Barrhead is home not just another town to roll into for a political opportunity.
I support the immediate recognition of the state of Palestine. But that in itself will not end the war. The mass starvation, indiscriminate killing and illegal occupation must end now.
The debate recognition of Palestine continues but soon there won’t be anything left to recognise. Listen to what the coalition are saying, read their plans, and look at what’s happening in the West Bank and Gaza. Recognise both states & move on to securing a lasting resolution.
1/3 Yesterday at the Knesset, a conference on the “Gaza Riviera” set out a plan to annex & settle Gaza. The goal: 1.2 million Jewish settlers, no Palestinians - they’ll emigrate or be forcibly transferred. Minister Smotrich said Gaza will be an “inseparable part of Israel”.
