Trump is pressuring countries like Brazil, Canada, and India to stop regulating Big Tech — or face heavy tariffs. Trump says it’s about fairness, but it’s not. It’s corporate favoritism disguised as patriotism.
Trump is threatening Brazil with tariffs to help his insurrectionist buddy Bolsonaro and line Big Tech’s pockets. This isn’t about trade, it’s Trump doing authoritarian dirty work for his friends.

As predicted, Trump has slapped new tariffs on the EU despite indications they are conceding to his demands to drop taxes on Big Tech. There is no point in making concessions to this Deal-Breaker in Chief.
The only "victory" here is for tech bro billionaires. If the EU thinks this will make Trump back down on tariff bullying, they should give Canada a ring -- they just got slapped with a 35% tariff AFTER caving in on the same handouts to big tech CEOs.

This is proof that other countries can’t appease Trump in his chaotic trade war. Canada caved to Trump’s demands to drop its tax on Big Tech. But he’s just hit them with a 35% tariff anyway. He’s bullying countries to do his authoritarian bidding - and his word means nothing.
