🗨️ LSL participants’ confidence and willingness to engage in suicide preventative behaviors increased after the program. ☎️ After attending the program, LSL participants are more likely to reach out for help if they are concerned about someone else or are struggling themselves.
That's why we're excited to share the impact of our program L.E.T.S. Save Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention for Black and African American Communities. We found that: 💙 LSL has reached 1,900 people since its launch in February 2024.
Measuring impact is critical in ensuring that we are effectively carrying out our mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

This #MinorityMentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we're highlighting the importance of cultural inclusion. This AFSP-funded research followed high schoolers in Puerto Rico and the effect of culturally sensitive outpatient treatment.
