If an older woman looks appealing, men scream "why doesn't she 'dress for her age'?" If she's a bit out of shape/looks like most women her age, they scream "what happened to her?" Just another example of the constant goalpost moving men do to keep women worried about their looks.

She’d be criticized if she took the Pamela Anderson route too. The truth is women cannot win under a spotlight, especially if we’re over 30. I’m so unconcerned with how she or any other woman chooses to dress herself unless she’s indecently exposed.
