open.spotify.com/episode/4WArZk… Because you haven’t heard ENOUGH about Fedde and Mozeliak. And if you hang on long enough, I talk about the time they tried to kill Joe Medwick.
Aww man, Kyle Leahy. Sucking us right back into the human side.
The Cardinals now have me thinking about Mike Maroth every single day.
You just have to wonder what the Dewitt’s threshold for embarrassment is. And then you have to wonder about yourself. How much more can I tune in to a team that insists on pitching Fedde?
I don’t know how you can let Fedde show up in uniform one more game. I mean, I’m sure Mozeliak knows how. I bet Mozeliak can figure out a way to get him a contract extension. But as for me, a layperson, I have no idea how that isn’t his last game in a Cardinals uniform.
Holy lord what an embarrassment. They just lost to the Rockies, and not by a little. The attendance is still too high for this sludge.
In retrospect the Cardinals really should have used this year for a reset, where they gave high ceiling youth a lot of runway, so they could better plan for the future. Instead of whatever the Hell this has been.
I’ve shifted my thinking from “they should sell” to “ they should disband the franchise, race Busch to the ground, and salt the earth they used to play baseball on.”
Choice fucking made.
Oli is already at a decision point. Take him out now for a chance to beat the worst team in decades - or let it ride with Fedde until Mozeliak has to go to the mound himself to stop the carnage.

What Fedde is turning depressed Cardinals fans into: cutters
Pitch hit for a home run: cutter. Pitch hit for a double: cutter. Pitch that has misbehaved all season for Fedde: cutter. #Cardinals trail, 3-0, and all three runs off the cutter. #rockies #MLB
My conspiracy theory is that the Cardinals are generating so much income from Twitter due to the engagement/interactions/mentions they get from disgruntled fans when Fedde pitches that it is actually to their economic disadvantage to let him go
Just for the record, Amador was hitting a *Coors inflated* .163 Then he doubled in 2 runs off Fedde.
If you can’t tell, the mood of the account tonight is going to be “Charles rides Fedde’s ass like he’s being paid 30 million to star in ‘Brokeback Mountain 2: hurt me until I can quit you’”
Fedde already with infinitely more walks than McGreevy had last night.
Arenado “thrown out at 2B” is misleading. Arenado “tagged out once he got in the distant vicinity of 2B by the patiently waiting fielder who had retrieved the throw much earlier” is the correct scoring
This is what immediately made me turn off the game. I couldn’t take this level of Baghdad Bob.
Chip Caray and Mark Sweeney on Erick Fedde tonight: "He needs run support. While you could make the argument that Erick hasn't pitched well, and he really hasn't, he has had to pitch with zero margin for error." C'mon lol. He's been atrocious with or without run support all…
I hope Fedde trade suitors were convinced of his dominance after the first batter and turned the game off.
If the Chip pity party for Fedde “having to pitch with no run support” speech just made you fly into a rage, raise your hand and join me.
I’ll just say it and keep saying it, the only reason Mo would be in charge of the trade deadline would be in hopes of competing this year. If the deadline is about making the team better only in the future, then not only should Bloom run the show, but DeWitt should demand it.

Dude. Gorman and Donovan played every day together last year too. Gorman wasn’t sent down because there wasn’t room. He was sent down because he wasn’t productive. You’re just choosing to believe the messaging that this is all about a youth movement, and not about cash.
