THE FACTS ABOUT THE OWO MEMORIAL PARK ▪️The memorial park was built by the administration of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, in honour of the 41 lives lost in the terror attack on worshippers at St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, on June 5, 2022 #AketiEternal
Demolition of Owo Memorial Park: The CPS to Governor Akeredolu has shared that the construction of the park on the land was approved by Olowo & the Olowo-in-council, stressing that Aketi offered another location but they agreed to the chosen site. The question is; what changed?

The demolition might not even be the issue here, the governor is the lowest on performance in SW and he needs to do better.
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo is on Strike. All State-owned Universities are on strike. The State Judiciary are on strike. The health workers are planning to embark on strike. With all these issues bedeviling the state, it's demolition that matters most to Ondo Poco Lee 🤣

Among other things Aiyedatiwa could do for Owo people, demolition of Memorial Park is at the top of his list. RUGIPO has been on strike for months, Olowo and the council could not advise the Alagbaka Poco Lee to do something about it. Y'all deserve him.
Your Leader; acted against the advice of the Olowo in council and the Olowo himself; they were not happy with the development at the time and it was public knowledge then; it’s okay to pretend you didn’t know; and again; it shouldn’t have been that location.
Where were the so called Olowo-in-council when the memorial Park was being constructed? How come Olowo and the people never said anything against it. Suddenly, they found their voices. Besides, you are not in the position to decide if he did the right or not.
The decision to demolish the memorial park and relocation is a very good decision by ODSG; siting such directly in front of the Olowo’s palace; is something that shouldn’t have happened ab initio; Aketi didn’t do the right thing; and it’s only right that it’s corrected.
