Up next for the Shrimpers! ⚽️ Our home @EssexSenior debut is this Tuesday night under the lights vs @HalsteadTownFC 7:45 kick off. Let’s pack the oak, and show this new league what the R Gwinnell & Sons Royal Oak is all about 👏 See you there 🖤🤍

👏 Top work from @cultzeros with a new-look @OfficialHarwich printed programme. 📖 Tomorrow's 1st edition includes an interview with @Mattcarmichael9 & a look back at a famous season in our Blast From The Past feature. 🪙 Price now £2, although that's standard in #ESL. @NLprogs
🗓️ On this day in 2008, stars flocked to the Royal Oak in aid of @CRY_UK. Athlete Iwan Thomas & actor John Altman were among them, while footballers to appear included @OfficialHarwich legend Kevin Beattie, Jason Dozzell, Bryan Gunn (@mrgunny1963) & Luther Blissett (@LBliss8).
Only 1 place to be this coming Tuesday evening - my favourite, traditional local ground. @EssexSenior action at The Royal Oak for the 1st time as @OfficialHarwich tackle @HalsteadTownFC. Can't wait.⚫⚪⚽
There were plenty of positives today. @GWRovers are a really efficient and well drilled side. Who will be in the mix.....that said we matched them in periods, and were undone in key moments where individual errors cost us. Cliche time we go again.. but we do and we will....
Opening day defeat on the road in our ESL campaign. @GWRovers are a cracking side 👏 We now look forward to Tuesday night in our 1st home game of the season vs Halstead Town Football Club

Cracking strike for @GWRovers.
🚀 What a goal in added time by GW 3-1
Double change Luke Spurling & Max Long Replacing… Alfie Canning & Reece Harte 2-1
Strong Harwich spell, Greg Rodger has added a new dynamic up front. Good play ends with a Mayhew effort that goes over the bar! 2-1
The goal from @GWRovers...
Goal for the hosts Tidy finish 2-1
GW Chicken Burger setting the early standard for half time scran! 👏 1-1
