Today, Acting Head of @OSCE_Serbia, Carolina Hidea, addressed the OSCE Permanent Council. She talked about the Mission's achievements and highlighted its role in bridging Serbia's institutions and public through meaningful dialogue.

Ambassador Obradović met with the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Ms. Hidea to discuss ongoing cooperation and shared commitment to regional stability, democratic reforms, and the rule of law. @OSCE_Serbia remains our valuable and constructive partner.

ODIHR is very concerned about the reported violence and arrests during the ongoing protests in #Serbia. We urge 🇷🇸 authorities to respect the right to peaceful assembly and refrain from any excessive & indiscriminate use of force, ensuring that any violations are investigated.

I discussed media issues in #Serbia with the news outlet @KurirVesti.

I met with @anemedija, @scfondacija & @gradjanske in Belgrade. We talked about the selection process for the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM). A transparent & equal application of the law is a vital precondition for a functional regulatory framework.

I had important discussions with @n1srbija regarding the difficult situation for the #SafetyofJournalists and #MediaFreedom in #Serbia.

The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Ambassador Jan Braathu, and the Head of the Media Department of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Dominique Thierry, participated in the NUNS conference (1/4)

“Between Pressure and Resistance: Media Freedoms Through the Lens of the NUNS Report” held today in Belgrade. They welcomed the contribution of NUNS to public debate on the state of rule of law, media freedom and ongoing media reform process. (2/4)

The protection of freedom of expression and the safety of journalists are fundamental human rights and long-standing priorities of our 57 participating States, including the Republic of Serbia. (3/4)

🌍  #WorldEnvironmentDay2025 obeležili smo dijalogom o zelenim politikama u AC Subotica. Razgovarali smo razvoju sistema zelenih prostora Grada Subotice. 📍Događaju je prisustvovala gospođa Tatjana Đurković, nacionalna savetnica za zaštitu životne sredine @OSCE_Serbia

Uz podršku Misije OEBS-a u 🇷🇸, Sektor za vanredne situacije MUP-a Srbije je u Leskovcu održao trodnevnu komandno-simulacionu vežbu, za pripadnike lokalnih štabova za vanredne situacije iz Jablaničkog okruga, tokom koje su učesnici/ce razvijali planove reakcije u slučaju poplava.
