Prompted by this admission, I thought I’d bring together some reporting from the time, leaning towards Russian reporting / interviews and open source information, to underline even to those unwilling to listen, that this was not a narrative manufactured by Ukraine and the West🧵
Before Vladlen Totorsky died in the bomb attack in Prigozhin‘s coffee house, he published something interesting. A confession that the thousand of Russian officers formed the DLNR. 🧐 Have you heard Russia claiming about the „civil war“ narrative in the last time? No. Because…

Daily $25 to @jana_skhidna and defenders of Pokrovsk I know many are focused on the bill protests. But this will be fixed soon. But what couldn't be fixed are the lives of innocent Ukrainians who are in the Pokrovsk now. 🍯send.monobank.ua/jar/yzzi7qW5w рр — [email protected]
All of these should be named after the fallen heroes that should be the trend and that should be what people do.

Daily $25 to @jana_skhidna and defenders of Pokrovsk I believe many saw the scale of russian manufacturing capabilities in the alabuga factory. It shows who Ukraine is standing against. Help Ukraine develop its drones 🍯send.monobank.ua/jar/yzzi7qW5w рр — [email protected]
I'm Peter Hitchens, widely published intellectual heavyweight and correct about everything columnist. The sort of people I agree with on the internet repost Lord Bebo, Covid conspiracy theorits and are pro Putin because he hates le trans. I see no reason to reflect upon this.
.@salloandy51. It was a hugely significant incident, ending Mr Zelensky's sincere and honourable attempt to be the Peace President he said he would be.
I... I don’t even know what to say. How the hell are we,humanity, just allowing this? Drones hunting down families working in fields. This isn’t just cruel. It’s monstrous. Irrational. And yet we’ve been watching it unfold for years, doing absolutely fucking nothing. Not a…
A Russian drone attacks families working in the fields in the Kherson region. Human safari goes on.
Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, and maybe Iran are the only parties that know how this war works. You ratchet things up, everyone loses their mind about how unthinkable it all is, then it becomes the new normal. Ukraine's allies have been too timid when doing this by comparison.
Close the fucking sky now. That's the only strength that Putin understand, it will save live without taking part in any combats, and no he isn't gonna launch a fucking Nuclear Weapon, they're gonna whine and scream for 2weeks like they always do & it will become the new reality.
Addressing the Dutch Parliament, I said: Russia is stronger than any of us alone, but weaker than all of us together. Putin thinks in terms of potential—his own, and of those he sees as targets. If Europe’s combined strength leaves him no room for aggression, there will be none.
It’s reasonable to fear war as the world order breaks down. What complicates sympathy is that many still refuse to admit that letting Russia get away with invading Ukraine was a turning point many warned would trigger more wars. Without owning that mistake, it can’t be corrected.
The US has folded, Europe has nothing but empty sanctions threats. Of course he feels on the top of the world and will continue. Good job at managing escalation, partners.
Asked how far his army will go in Ukraine, Putin says: "I consider the Russian and Ukrainian people to be one people. In that sense all Ukraine is ours."
I hate that my first thought is that this is cool, given why it's needed. But it is a pretty damn cool way to save lives. Chuck money at this, and encourage those you know who are wary of supporting lethal fundraisers to do the same.
You can *do things* and Russia broadly shrugs and takes it. They're yet to meet a proactive West on Ukraine, and it's still Ukrainian lives buying us our glacial reaction time.
Syria - and now Iran - are clear examples of how Russia often fails to stand by its partners and allies, regardless of the agreements between them. Bit by bit, Russia is losing partner states in the anti-Western coalition, as they call for help that never arrives
I'm coming to you with a really cool fundraiser - for anti-drone net guns and drone detectors. One such set should exponentially increase the likelihood of survival for a soldier. I will post more info below (it's a collective effort), for donations: 🌐 PayPal: [email protected]
Seeing the speed with which US/UK etc have moved hundreds of planes to close the skies over Israel, Iraq, and bomb people in Iran, it should be painfully obvious to everyone how obtuse it is to claim shooting down unmanned drones and rockets over Ukraine is an "escalation."
Last night’s Russian cluster munition attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. By any definition, a clear and unambiguous war crime.
This is the capital of the largest country in Europe. Lemme repeat, this is the capital of the largest country in Europe - and we let this happen
Trump getting geopolitically cucked. What a shock.
A building used by Boeing in Kyiv was badly damaged in a recent large-scale Russian air attack, in what appeared to be a deliberate strike on the US aerospace company, according to six people familiar with the matter and photographs seen by @FT. on.ft.com/3TnpFDN
One of the risks of prioritizing self-defense spending over arming Ukraine is that it may end up being too slow, too overall inadequate for the demands of the shape warfare will take in the future, or misused entirely. Arming Ukraine now remains the more effective and honest path
Western security officials continue to assess that Russia is preparing for a protracted confrontation with NATO. ⬇️
Bang on. If Russia can claim a victory, we will be living in a more dangerous, less stable, and far costlier world, whilst having shown we lack the mettle to handle that.
I often hear this question. Ukraine is important because it’s where the bulk of democracies face a vital stress test against autocracies. If the latter win, even partially, their global influence and power will grow, and solving other issues under their rule will be much harder.
