Here is the first glimpse of the new arena planned for the old Myriad/Cox Center site. Construction will start in early 2026, and the project is scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2028, in time for the 2028/29 season




Joining Whole Foods at Covell & I-35 will be Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, and new-to-OK Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant. More restaurants and retail are planned for future phases.

Plans have been filed to convert the three 10-story Landmark Towers into housing. Located near Baptist Hospital, the middle tower was built first in 1967, the east in 1969 and west 1971. Plans show the addition of several amenities including a pool, playground, and dog park.

Crews have started to demolish the north wall of the former Myriad/Cox Center and dismantle a 145-foot-long glass and steel pedestrian skybridge. The new Thunder arena will be built on this site starting early next year. First renderings should be revealed next month.
