Always exhausting when people debate about pixel art ‘rules’. About what you should and shouldn’t do. I’ve seen crazy inspiring work with the weirdest of art styles. Do I love mixels or dithering? No. Have I been proven wrong about what ‘works’? Yes. Countless times.
